How to Download Minecraft Education Edition on a Chromebook

You can now download Minecraft: Education Edition on any Chromebook.

Go to the Google Play Store

In order to download and install Minecraft Education Edition on your Chromebook, you’ll need to first make sure that your device is running the latest version of Chrome OS. To do this, simply restart your Chromebook and it should update automatically.

Once you’ve confirmed that your Chromebook is running the latest version of Chrome OS, go ahead and open up the Google Play Store. You can do this by clicking on the “Apps” icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen, then selecting the “Google Play Store” option from the resulting drop-down menu.

Once the Google Play Store is open, use the search bar at the top of the screen to search for “Minecraft Education Edition.” Once you find it, click on the “Install” button and wait for the app to finish downloading and installing onto your Chromebook.

Once Minecraft Education Edition has been installed onto your Chromebook, you can launch it by clicking on the “Launch” button from within the Google Play Store interface, or by finding it in your Chromebook’s app drawer and clicking on it from there.

Search for “Minecraft Education Edition”

Go to the Google Play Store on your Chromebook and search “Minecraft Education Edition.” The game should be the first result. Select it and click “Install.” The game will download and install automatically.

Click on the app

In order to install Minecraft: Education Edition, you’ll need to be using a compatible device. Right now, that includes Windows 10, macOS, iPadOS, and Android devices. Chromebooks are not currently supported.

But there is a way to run Minecraft: Education Edition on a Chromebook. All you need is the Google Play Store and a little bit of patience.

First, open the Google Play Store and search for “Minecraft: Education Edition.” The app should be the first result. Click on it and then click “Install.”

The app will start downloading, but it may take a while. Minecraft: Education Edition is a pretty big app and it could take up to an hour to download, depending on your internet connection.

Once the app has finished downloading, you can launch it by clicking on the “Open” button in the Google Play Store, or by finding it in your list of apps.

Click “Install”

In order to install Minecraft Education Edition on your Chromebook, you will first need to sign in with your Google account. Once you have signed in, click on the “Install” button on the Minecraft Education Edition page.

After clicking “Install,” the game will begin downloading onto your Chromebook. Once it has finished downloading, you can launch the game by clicking on the “Launch” button.

Follow the prompts

In order to download Minecraft Education Edition on a Chromebook, you will need to follow the prompts that appear on the screen. The first prompt will ask you to choose your language. After you have chosen your language, the next prompt will ask you to agree to the terms and conditions. Once you have agreed to the terms and conditions, the next prompt will ask you to select your installation location. After you have selected your installation location, the next prompt will ask you to select your installation type. The next prompt will ask you if you want to install third-party software. Once you have selected your installation type, the final prompt will ask you if you are ready to install Minecraft Education Edition on your Chromebook.
